Cedara is a place where St. Joseph's Scholasticate is found. It is around Hilton in Pietermaritburg (RSA). St. Joseph's is a formation and academic place and it is at this place where we continue with the journey to priesthood and religious life. Let us proceed with the journey in my third year at St. Joseph's.

Cedara 2007

St. Joseph's Scholasticate has about 67 members this year; scholastics and formators. This time I live in Mabatoana house and below is a picture of Mabatoana. We are 12 scholastics and our moderator is Fr. Anthony Mbheki, OMI.

Basically this is a house of those preparing to offer themselves perpetually to Christ and the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. So far three have applied to begin the process of perpetual vows this year winter.
