As you are getting to know me a little bit, here is my background story. To view other pages, follow the same simple procedure, by clicking a specific link on the right side of this page.

My Background Story

I was born on May 18, 1980 in the Western Province of Zambia, at a place called Limulunga in Mongu District. I'm a son of Patrick Like, and Mary Imebo. I have five sisters and three brothers. My three other brothers past away, (two when I was very young and the other one on January 24, 2002). My parents separated when I was pretty young, about 2 years or less. Now they are divorced.

Education Background

Primary School:

My educational back ground involved a number of movements. To mention some of the contributing factors; I had to be visiting with mum during school holidays. Also since there were no primary boarding schools, I had to be moving with my father from one school to the other whenever he was transfered.

Anyhow, I began grade one in 1987 at Kanyonyo Basic School in Mongu, where my step mum was teaching. At that time my father was the Boarding Master at Kambule Tech. High School. Some time in 1989, my father was promoted to headmaster at Luampa basic school, in Kaoma district, Western Province of Zambia. In 1991, I took a temporal transfer and did my grade five at Mupatu Primary School in Limulunga. At the end of that year my father was transfered to Mulamatila Basic School in Kaoma township. I went back to Kaoma and did the rest of my primary level at Mulamatila.

Secondary School:

In 1994, I qualified to Secondary level and asked Dad if I could go to boarding school. He accepted and I did my junior secondary school at Lukona. This is one of the Oblate's Mission out Station in Kalabo. I was in boarding school for two years. After sitting for examinations at the end of my second year, I did not do well in some subjects, therefore, I had to repeat grade nine in 1996, back at Mulamatila Basic School. In 1997, I qualified to senior level and was sellected by Kaoma Secondary School. The school is a few kilometres away from Mulamatila so I did not have to be a boarder. I completed my grade twelve in 1999.
